TRADITION-PART 2

JESUS CHRIST often rebuked false Tradition and Error. The tradition is a negative pattern of thinking that has been burned into our minds by habitual reinforcement of the external factors or experiences of our culture and life had an effect upon our earthly or spiritual development. All these experiences have been stored in our memory. Consequently; all kinds of tradition have been raised up against the knowledge of God. JESUS CHRIST did not hesitate to rebuke when tradition have been raised up than glorifying God. The Bible says JESUS rebuked the Jewish ruler Nicodemus saying, Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? John 3:10, To the Sadducees JESUS said plainly Jesus answered and said to them, "You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures or the power of God. Matt 22:29.
In the Sermon on the Mount, JESUS repeatedly said that their beliefs and traditions are false with the emphatic phrase “You have heard that it was said, but I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. Matt 5:38, 39, on another occasion JESUS deliberately rebuked the teaching (Jewish) that went contrary to God’s truth He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? Matt 15:3.
It seems plain from these events that JESUS did not hesitate to correct or refute error whether it is accepted belief (Jewish belief), tradition or not. Throughout His ministry JESUS consistently rejected the false tradition (Jewish tradition). In His relation to the belief about keeping the Sabbath JESUS CHRIST rejected the false tradition, and behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"--that they might accuse Him. Then He said to them, "What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." Matt 12:10,11,12.
The commands and Law of JESUS CHRIST are thus part of the truth that God uses to transform our lives from all our traditions and bring increasing sanctification, holiness and power.
